Every couple hopes for beautiful weather for their wedding day and for Paige and Chris, their wish came true. Saturday the 15th of April was a stunning day and whilst it started out cold it soon warmed up.
Whilst the reception was to take place at The Falcon Hotel in Bude Cornwall, the bride chose to get ready at her grandmother’s house. The house was just a short distance away from Clovelly Church, a church where her parents had got married and that was now the chosen venue for her own wedding to Chris.
The morning started quietly, as weddings tend to do, but then quickly speed up with the arrival of the bridesmaids, the bride’s brother, and her father. Even the washing up is a task that still needs doing wedding or no wedding, but when all was ready Paige had some family photos in the garden before we made our way to Clovelly Church.
I have to say that the church at the top of the beautiful tourist attraction of Clovelly village is stunning in its own right and a beautiful place to get married. I met Chris and his family at the church where we had a few minutes to get photos of his family before the ceremony began. After the ceremony, the couple had a confetti tunnel, one of my favourite moments of the day, and a few couples and family photos before we were on the road to Bude and The Falcon Hotel.
I have never photographed a wedding at The Falcon Hotel before but I have to say that it is a stunning location with some great locations for photographs and of course just down the road from the hotel lies the historic Pepper Pot landmark of Compass Point a great location for couple’s portraits that overlooks the town of Bude and of course the perfect location for some drone photography.
