Whilst Escot House does not offer onsite accommodation there are many superb options close by. One in particular, The Pig at Combe is a bespoke and exquisite hotel. Offering two nights’ accommodation at the weekend with 30 bedrooms,The Pig enables brides and grooms to enjoy a touch of luxury for their wedding day, as well as providing a perfect location for the romance of the wedding night itself. The Pig at Combe is just a 10 minute drive from Escot House.

WEDDING CEREMONY AT ESCOT HOUSE

Escot House offers a perfect combination of large rooms filled with daylight, private gardens and a beautiful terrace. You can choose to get married in the quaint church located on the borders of Escot’s grounds or you may prefer a civil ceremony held in the grand Library of the House.

WEDDING RECEPTION AT ESCOT HOUSE

Your Escot  reception is tailored to fit your needs perfectly. The in-house catering team is renowned for offering a wide variety of options using excellent, locally sourced produce and they will cater for any dietary need. Your wedding reception can be as formal or as informal as you want it to be. Escot House offers many options: a formal wedding breakfast with a full waiter service, a seated wedding buffet, or a standing buffet with waiters circulating with canapes with some seating still provided. You can also choose very informal catering, such as a barbeque or picnic.

There’s a multitude of stunning photo opportunities for your wedding photos at Escot House, with a beautiful lake, woodlands in the grounds, natural meadows and a landscaped lawn surrounded by many glorious flowering plants in season. For spring weddings, the Estate grounds are filled with bluebells and buttercups.

Q How many guests can I invite to my Escot wedding

A Escot House can accommodate 120 in the house, 180 using a marquee

Q Can I choose my own caterer?

A Escot House provides superb in-house catering using locally sourced produce

Q Can we stay the night at the venue?

A There is no overnight accommodation available as this is also a family residence but there are many choices nearby  

Q What about overnight guests?

The Premier Inn in Honiton offers reasonably priced accommodation and if you’re looking for something a little bit more luxurious take a look at The Pig at Combe in Gittisham, just 10 minutes’ drive away. There is a wealth of choice for self-catering accommodation too. Escot’s website includes a local accommodation page.
