A grand historic red brick mansion with evenly spaced white windows, two main doors, and an ornate stone urn in the center, set against a blue sky with clouds, and surrounded by a gravel courtyard.

Crowcombe Court is a resplendent, Grade 1-listed mansion situated on the edge of the Quantock Hills, close to Taunton in Somerset. This wedding venue offers a glamourous backdrop to any couple seeking an elegant destination for their wedding day.

Sitting in just over 10 acres of land, Crowcombe Court offers bridal couples the history afforded to a house that resonates the style of English Regional Baroque, sitting within the timeframe of Queen Anne and Georgian periods alike.

Crowcombe Court weddings offer civil ceremonies for up to 100 guests and evening receptions for 150 – but if you’d prefer to get married in a church this, too, can be arranged. After all, the local church is literally at the end of the drive! As well as beautiful gardens for your wedding photography, Crowcombe Court also offers couples four function rooms, a getting-ready room for the bride, a honeymoon suite, twelve bedrooms and three apartments for your guests.

From the persoective of wedding photography, Crowcombe Court has it all. It really does not matter which season you choose to get married in or indeed whether it rains or shies! The venue boasts both an indoor space for wedding ceremonies as well as an outdoors area overlooking the beautiful Quantock Hills. What you can be sure of is that Crowcombe Court is picture-perfect, and just waiting to deliver you some truly fantastic photos for your wedding album!

The Great Hall is the location of most wedding ceremonies conducted at Crowcombe Court. It’s also just one such example of a photo-ready location, its every nook and cranny making a splendid statement of grandeur! Able to seat up to 100 guests, the Great Hall offers a luxurious backdrop for exchanging your wedding vows, and serves as a fantastic site for your group photos should the weather outside be less than desirable.

Next to the Great Hall lies the Victoran Ballroom. Beautifully decorated with its high ceilings and and stunning chandeliers, this tranquil room is the perfect spot for your very first meal together as a married couple. Able to comfortably sit up to 100 guests, it’ll make for an unforgettable dining experience to enjoy with your friends and family.

Just a few meters away from The Grand Hall and Victorian Ballroom lies the Lounge, a place where you and your guests can go to relax after the festivities of the wedding day. It’s also the place where you will meet your offical wedding registrars for those all important last-minute pieces of legal papwerwork before you say ‘I do’.

The Lounge is also a great place to occupy younger children, who might find the hubbub of the wedding day a little too exciting!

After the formal festivities of your wedding celebration (and, of course, your wedding breakfast), the bridal couple and guests can dance the night away in Crowcombe Court’s Vaulted Underground.

With ten acres of land, Crowcombe Court’s grounds offer the perfect location for your wedding photos. With the grand backdrop of Crowcombe Court itself as well as a natural spring, crouquet lawn and beautiful hydrangea beds, your wedding photographs simply cannot fail to impress.
